The silky-smooth vocals of R&B group Boyz II Men, aka Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris, notable for hits “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You” and “On Bended Knee,” received the first Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in 2012 when they were honored on Jan. 05, 2012.

The group’s star, the 2,456th on the Walk of Fame, can be found near legendary Motown artists such as The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Miracles and the Temptations. All four original Boyz II Men members (the trio plus Michael McCary, who left the group in 2003 due to health problems) attended the star ceremony along with Michael Bivins of the band New Edition. Bivins was instrumental in getting the band a contract with Motown Records through a production deal with his Biv Ten Records company.

The group kicks off what is sure to be an exciting season. The next ceremony has also been announced, with John Wells, a prolific writer, director and producer, being honored on Jan. 12, 2012. Actors George Clooney and Allison Janney are scheduled to be guest speakers for Wells, who has been involved in television hits ER, The West Wing and current Showtime series Shameless as well as writing and directing the recent film The Company Men.

Joining Boyz II Men and Wells this year are the following stars of film, television and music:

Many ceremony dates have yet to be scheduled and MyHollywoodVacation.com will post all ceremonies on the calendar once they are scheduled. Most ceremonies begin at 11:30 A.M. at the given location and last about an hour. All ceremonies are sponsored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
